Google Maps and Google Street View are available as a free download for the Nokia N96
Step 1
Click on the Menu shortcut button to go to the Main Menu. Then open the Web application
Step 2
In the Web application, click on Options then Go to web address and enter http://m.google.com
Step 3
In the Google Mobile site select the link marked Maps
Step 4
Click on the bloody great Install Now link. The downloader will autodetect your phone make and model and point you at the right file
Step 5
Click on Yes to download and install the Google Maps application. You may be prompted about which memory location you want the app saved to - choose the one with the most available space
Step 6
Go to the Main Menu, select Applications and open Google Maps
Step 7
Click on Options, then My Location to get a GPS home in on your current location. Remember there needs to be clear line of site between the handset and 4 satellites for the most accurate reading
