How to set up and use email on the Samsung Omnia Pro B7610
Setting up and using your regular email accounts on the Samsung Omnia Pro B7610
The Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 is a tidily-equipped Windows Phones, running on the Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional platform, packing Wi-Fi and high-speed data connectivity - plus a slide-out Qwerty keyboard that boosts its email and other messaging capabilities.
You can set up the Samsung Omnia Pro to receive, send and manage emails via your regular email accounts. You can view emails and respond to them, download attachments and set up the phone to work your email just the way you want it.
Popular web-based email services, accounts provided by your internet service provider plus Microsoft Exchange corporate server solutions are all supported on this device, with push email also available.
The Samsung Omnia Pro has an email wizard onboard that enables you to register your email accounts swiftly and easily by entering just a few details, such as email address and password and the phone will automatically load up the appropriate settings for the account.
If the phone is unable to get these settings, you can input settings manually. These settings (including POP3 or IMAP4 incoming server address and your network provider's SMTP outgoing server address) should be available from your email service provider or mobile network (they can usually be found in the Support section of their website).
Hotmail accounts can be set up very quickly and easily using a separate Windows Live application in the phone's main menu. You just need your email address and password to log in to Hotmail and other services including Messenger instant messaging.
