Images of the new Sony Ericsson Kurara leaked

The device, according to Engadget, is thought to have a 3.5-inch AMOLED touch-sensitive screen, 8.1 megapixel camera, and massive 720p video recording facilities.

At present, it's only early days and there's certainly more speculation than fact present. However, there are reports of a HD inscription near the camera lens on one of the leaked images, which suggusts the device could be a direct rival the Samsung Omnia HD's of the world.

The Sony Ericsson Kurara is expected to go on sale in the first half of 2010, and is rumoured to be running a Symbian S60 OS.
