Chorus: The app that shows you what iPhone applications your friends use
A new App called Chorus, which is now available on the Apple Apps Store, can show you what applications your friends have been using.
The point behind Chorus is to help users discover new and interesting applications based on what people they know have been using.
While this does assume that all friends have similar tastes, it’s still quite a handy little application, nonetheless.
Chorus pulls your friends app usage information from either your contacts list, Facebook account, or off the Chorus website - obviously, this requires registration though.
From here, the Chorus app then generates personalised lists of applications that you may be interested in downloading. However, if none take your fancy, you simply shake your iPhone and its generates another list.
In addition, Chorus can also link the Apps Store with social networking sites, such as Twitter and Facebook.
There is also a reviews feature within Chorus where the user can read reviews done by professional Chorus Apps reviewers.
