Opera beta rushes faster browsing to Nokia and Symbian/S60 smartphones
Opera has announced Opera Mobile 10 beta which it claims brings 'powerful features' to the 'world's most-used smartphone platform'. Opera Mobile 10 beta is 'optimised for both touchscreen and keypad-style navigation' and it is free to download.
Opera claims that the new beta is 'twice as fast as the previous Opera Mobile released for Symbian/S60' handsets and that smartphone users will enjoy 'significant speed improvement when downloading pages, zooming and panning.'
The new beta sports a new 'sleek design', similar to the look and feel Opera introduced with the recently released Opera Mini 5 beta. Included in the new interface are an easy to access Speed Dial, tabbed browsing and a password manager.
Opera Mobile 10 beta is available for Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung smartphones running Symbian/S60, 3rd and 5th editions.
The beta is free to download to your computer from http://www.opera.com/mobile/next/ or directly to your mobile phone from http://m.opera.com/mobile/.
