2.8-inch iPhone Nano due in late 2010
Richard Goodwin
Rumours from the website Apple Insider have suggested that Apple is planning to launch an iPhone Nano device in the third quarter of 2010.
The rumoured device is alledged to have a 2.8-inch touch-screen, making it significantly smaller than the standard iPhone, which measures in at 3.5-inches.
Apple Insider have reported that the device will launch on Verizon.
In addition, Apple Insider have stated that an analyst has confirmed that the new ‘worldmode’ iPhone will work on both CDMA2000 and UMTS 3G networks.
Additional reports by OTR Global suggest that the new iPhone Nano will be manufactured by Asustek subsidiary Pegatron rather than Hon Hai, the iPhone's current manufacturer.
