Sony Ericsson X10 could come with PS3 App?
Richard Goodwin
Sony Ericsson haven’t had the best run of luck recently with the Satio being snubbed by Carphone Warehouse. However, its X10 device, due out in February 2010, could have a PS3 application built into that offers users access to the PS3 directly from their handset.
According to the website Unthinkable, Sony Ericsson has suggested that the PS3 application is a distinct possibility on its soon-to-be-flagship device, the X10, which is due to land in February 2010.
A similar application is already available on Sony Ericsson Aino, but a PS3 application on Sony Ericsson’s first Android phone could really give the competition something to worry about.
The PS3 application would allow users to access their PS3 from the handset anywhere in the world, stream videos, and play games. In short, this would theoretically make it one of the first PSP mobile phones.
According to Unthinkable, Sony Ericsson have alluded to the possibility, and said that it is something consumers should eventually expect.
The X10, which has a 1GHz processor and a 4-inch screen, seems like an ideal device to house the first PSP mobile capabilities. But whether it will actually see fruition is yet to be “officially” confirmed.
