Tesco bags the iPhone

High street monster Tesco is the latest UK firm to bag Apple’s iPhone.
According to the BBC, a spokesperson from Tesco has confirmed that that the Supermarket will be getting the iPhone in time for Christmas.
Orange and Vodafone also recently confirmed that they would also be selling the iPhone. Orange has already begun distributing the market-leading handset, and Vodafone is due to start in early 2010.
Orange recently confirmed that it sold 30,000 handsets on its first day.
The Tesco deal, according to the BBC, has been done in conjunction with O2 and will offer the iPhone on a variety of contracts and PAYG deals.
