Gold Encrusted iPhone Costs £1.92 Million
Richard Goodwin
A Liverpool based company, Goldstriker, has created an iPhone that is said to be worth £1.92 million. The device, which is the most expensive iPhone ever created, contains 271 grams of 22ct solid gold.
The opulent iPhone, known as the iPhone Supreme, took nearly 10 months to design and create and was commissioned by an Australian gold mine magnate.
According to reports, the iPhone Supreme features 271 grams worth of 22 carrot solid gold and 136 flawless diamonds.
The Apple logo on the back of the device is made of 53 flawless diamonds. And the navigation button is embedded with an extremely rare 7.1 carrot diamond.
However, as you’d expect, all this gold has made the device quite heavy. According to reports, the device, which also features a solid granite chest, weighs in at a whooping 7Kg.
