Apple: iPhone users have downloaded more than three billion apps!
Paul Nesbitt
Apple's revolutionary App Store has now downloaded more than three billion iPhone apps to owners of Apple's hot handset.
And Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, was not slow to crow about the landmark three billion downloads.
'Three billion applications downloaded in less than 18 months—this is like nothing we’ve ever seen before. The revolutionary App Store offers iPhone and iPod touch users an experience unlike anything else available on other mobile devices, and we see no signs of the competition catching up anytime soon,' raved Jobs.
And it was only three months ago, late last September, that Apple announced that more than two billion iPhone apps had been downloaded.
