LG launches sub-£200 Android smartphone in the UK

LG has introduced the LG Swift, a bargain-priced Android smartphone into the UK for just £199.99. The phone is unlocked.
LG's Swift is competing with the HTC Pulse and the Huawei Tattoo in the low end Android market.
The Swift comes with a 3in touchscreen, 3.15 megapixel camera, FM stereo radio, storage of up to 32GB (through a microSD slot) and it runs Android 1.6. The Swift supports the playback of MP4, Divx and H.264 media content.
The Swift is available in the UK on pre-order from Play.com for £199.99 and will ship on 30 April.
