Vodafone gets X10 Mini and Wildfire

Vodafone has picked up another two Android handsets with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and the HTC Wildfire.

The X10 Mini is already available, and is smaller than most smartphone handsets, being about the size of a credit card.

It comes with a 2.55 inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera and Android 1.6 OS, though this is likely to be upgraded soon later in 2010.

It is already available from Vodafone and comes free with a £20 a month, 24-month price plan including 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of mobile data.

The HTC Wildfire should be available by the end of the month, which is also a compact device that offers instead HTC’s sense interface and Android 2.1.

It has a 3.2 inch display with a capacitive touchscreen and pinch-to-zoom capability. It has a 240 x 320 QVGA resolution and weighs about 118 grams with the battery.

It also has a 5-megapixel camera as well as an app-sharing feature,and Friend Stream, which you can use to check Facebook, Twitter and Flickr all at the same time.

You can pre-order the HTC Wildfire, which is free on a £20 a month plan including 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile data included.
